Reading Programs, Other Programs & Special Events
We have author James Kenyon, D.V.M. scheduled for Thursday, September 21st 6:00 pm in the HPL Springvale Room. This event is sponsored by our Humboldt Public Library Foundation.
Registration will be required as seating is limited, and we will be taking registrations through September 20th, or until seats are filled.
Cookies and water will be available for a free-will donation.
James has a long list of credentials with a rich background in veterinarian services and farming. He will certainly enlighten and entertain the audience, and we look forward to meeting him and am honored to have him present his program at our library.
James Kenyon is an Iowa author and native of Kansas. We featured his “A Cow For College” as one of our past Humboldt Reads Book Club reads.
In his presentation James will focus on his book “Echoes in the Hallway”. The presentation will have a very historic account of the former high schools in all 99 countries. The one in our county is Livermore. Others from surrounding counties include Laurens, Mallard, Woolstock, Lakota, Klemme, and Dayton.
Julie will also cover just an overview of his other books “A Cat Named Fatima“, and “A Cow for College”. The presentation will last a little over an hour and will include time for audience questions and reflections.
If you have any questions or wish to register, please contact Julie or Caitlynne at 332-1925.
