Quilt of the Month

A BIG thank you to Sheryl Shekey for loaning us her super cute, super scary quilt from her collection!  This quilt was patterned by Shekey, quilted by Diane Bacon, and the pattern came from Kim Quade (Manson).  It was made when Shekey took Jeanne Raine’s fall quilt class held at the Museum!

Shekey has been quilting for twenty years and is a part of the Honeybee Quilters and Lizard Creek Quilters Club.  In some exciting news, she is attending an upcoming three-day retreat that exclusively curtails to quilting.  We hope she has a great time (and makes lots more super cute quilts to share with us! 

This is one you really have to stop in and see because of all the teeny-tiny details that cannot be captured via camera.  We could not wait to hang this one up as we are so ready for the spooky season!
